Tucked away in the corner of a massive modern cemetery is this small ruined church that is older than the town of Tralee itself. And it has an ogham stone!

The name Ratass comes from Rath Mhaighe Deiseirt, meaning "Fort of the Southern Plain". Some time in the 10th century a small church was built on this site.
