The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi commonly known as Saint Francis Cathedral, is a Catholic cathedral in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Both churches were consecrated by Pope Innocent IV in 1253, before work was started on the large cycle of fresco decorations.
